Junior Research Scientist (AI)

Location: New York City, United States; on-site, with in-person work required 4–5 days per week

Salary: $150,000–$230,000 per year, plus equity and potential bonuses

What you will do

• Develop and refine machine learning architectures for advanced conversational flows.
• Conduct analyses supporting decisions and improving AI solution effectiveness.
• Apply mathematical and machine learning techniques to tenant engagement, behavior prediction, and customer interactions.
• Research advances in machine learning, AI, and large language models and apply them to products.
• Collaborate with engineering, product development, and data science teams to integrate and deploy ML models.
• Use generative AI and large language models with production-scale data.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Mathematics, Theoretical Physics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong foundation in machine learning algorithms, statistical analysis, and data modeling.
• Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving skills applied to real-world challenges.
• Programming proficiency in Python, R, or similar languages, plus experience with machine learning libraries and frameworks.
• Willingness to work in person at the New York City office 4–5 days per week.
