Senior Frontend Engineer (React)

What you will do

• Design, build, test, and maintain scalable web applications with React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Translate product and design requirements into responsive, accessible, and dependable user interfaces.
• Define frontend architecture, coding standards, reusable components, shared libraries, and design-system foundations.
• Integrate applications with RESTful APIs, GraphQL services, and backend systems.
• Improve performance, reliability, security, browser compatibility, Core Web Vitals, page-load performance, bundle size, and runtime efficiency.
• Review code, diagnose production issues, collaborate across engineering and product functions, improve delivery workflows, document decisions, and mentor frontend engineers.

Requirements

• At least seven years of professional software engineering experience building production-grade frontend applications.
• At least seven years of experience with JavaScript and React, plus strong proficiency in TypeScript, HTML, and modern CSS.
• Experience with scalable frontend architectures, reusable component systems, responsive design, semantic HTML, browser compatibility, and web accessibility.
• Experience integrating APIs, handling authentication and authorization, and implementing validation, caching, and error states.
• Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, Git, code reviews, modern frontend tooling, build systems, and continuous integration pipelines.
• Understanding of frontend performance optimization, application security, production monitoring, observability tools, analytical problem-solving, technical leadership, and agile product development.

Nice to have

• Experience with Next.js or another React-based application framework.
• Experience with GraphQL, server-side rendering, static-site generation, or micro-frontends.
• Experience building or contributing to a design system.
• Experience with feature flags, experimentation, product analytics, or highly regulated and transaction-heavy products.
• Experience mentoring engineers or leading frontend technical initiatives.
