Senior Digital Forensics Analyst (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Collect and preserve digital evidence across endpoints, cloud assets, and infrastructure using DFIR and XDR methods.
• Maintain chain-of-custody and evidence-handling procedures suitable for HR and legal proceedings.
• Collaborate with service teams on incident mitigation, recovery, and response activities.
• Conduct root cause analysis and produce incident reports with investigation findings and conclusions.
• Develop incident-response tools and playbooks, adapting investigative approaches as needed.
• Research attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures; simulate them and communicate risk-mitigation recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of experience conducting forensic analysis on Windows and Linux systems.
• Strong diligence, sense of duty, investigative skills, and people-interviewing skills.
• Good verbal and written English communication skills are required for collaboration with management and technical teams.

Nice to have

• Digital forensics and incident response certifications such as GCFA or GCFR.
• Cloud forensics experience with AWS CloudTrail, Azure Sentinel, or GCP Audit Logs.
• Forensics experience in Docker, Kubernetes, container registries, CI/CD pipelines, and virtualized environments.
• Penetration testing, red teaming, or purple teaming experience, including OSCP or GWAPT.
• Experience with forensic tools, Python or scripting languages, AI/ML environments, and AI-assisted investigation techniques.
