Investment Operations Associate (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid in New York City, NY or San Francisco, CA; office attendance at least two days per week

Salary: $150,000+ annual base salary, plus benefits and equity

What you will do

• Perform investment diligence and own end-to-end investment controls.
• Complete investment documentation and coordinate transaction execution.
• Orchestrate wire approvals and settle transactions with custodians.
• Build and maintain an audit file for every investment.
• Manage exit operations and support valuation and reporting cycles.
• Help scale operations across co-investment vehicles, accounts, and funds.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of transaction-level operations experience for private funds, RIAs, fund administrators, or custodians.
• Track record of owning fund operations.
• Experience actively applying AI to build systems and increase leverage.
• Systems mindset with the ability to identify root causes and recurring patterns.
• Comfort building new controls and adapting to new transaction structures.
• High attention to detail and low tolerance for unintentional risk.
