Engineering Manager (AI/Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and coach a team of 4–8 engineers while maintaining technical excellence and ownership.
• Define and execute the team’s technical strategy and roadmap in alignment with product and business objectives.
• Design and build product capabilities for predicting, quantifying, and preventing cyber breaches.
• Guide architecture across APIs, microservices, event-driven systems, cloud infrastructure, data stores, and AI-enabled features.
• Drive AI-assisted engineering using tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, and Claude.
• Own delivery and production quality through code reviews, observability, incident management, RCA, SLOs, performance tracking, and reliability improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of software engineering experience, including 2 or more years in engineering management.
• Hands-on experience with server-side technologies such as Node.js, TypeScript, Python, Go, or similar technologies.
• Experience with web development, SQL and NoSQL databases, cloud-native distributed systems, and production observability.
• Practical knowledge of LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, agents, vector databases, model evaluation, hallucination mitigation, and LLM workflows.
• Strong leadership, communication, mentoring, delivery, architectural, and hands-on technical skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in cybersecurity, enterprise SaaS, risk management, CTEM, TPRM, CRQ, compliance, or related domains.
