Engineering Manager (AI/Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and coach a team of engineers while promoting ownership, collaboration, continuous learning, and engineering excellence.
• Define and execute the team’s technical strategy and roadmap in alignment with product priorities, customer commitments, and business goals.
• Design and build product capabilities for predicting, quantifying, and preventing cyber breaches.
• Guide architecture across APIs, microservices, event-driven systems, cloud infrastructure, data stores, and AI-enabled capabilities.
• Drive delivery ownership, code quality, testing, observability, security, performance, and cost optimization.
• Own production quality through incident management, root-cause analysis, SLOs, performance tracking, and reliability improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of software engineering experience, including at least 2 years in an engineering management role.
• Hands-on experience with server-side technologies such as Node, TypeScript, Python, Go, or similar technologies.
• Knowledge of React, Angular, Vue, SQL and NoSQL databases, cloud-native distributed systems, and production engineering.
• Practical experience with AI-assisted coding tools and LLM concepts including prompt engineering, RAG, agents, vector databases, model evaluation, hallucination mitigation, and LLM observability.
• Experience managing and coaching teams of 4–8 engineers, delivering scalable and reliable platforms, and balancing people leadership with technical depth.

Nice to have

• Experience in cybersecurity, enterprise SaaS, risk management, CTEM, TPRM, CRQ, compliance, or related domains.
