Vectorial AI is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer, AI Systems, based in India while the founding team works out of San Francisco.

This is a backend role with real AI ownership. You'd build the systems behind an AI-simulated audience platform: APIs, async jobs, and the orchestration layer handling retrieval, reasoning, and evaluation across LLM calls.

It's a production role, not a research one. Expect model usage tradeoffs, reliability work, and real engineering judgment on a young team.

A good fit for backend engineers who want hands-on ownership of an AI-native product, not just a surface-level integration.
