Venture Fund Paralegal

Annual base salary: $75,000–$180,000

What you will do

• Support venture capital fund formation and ongoing fund operations.
• Maintain fund formation checklists and review and respond to investor subscriptions.
• Organize general partner, main fund, side fund, and management company entities.
• Distribute closing documents to investors, prepare closing volumes, and make federal and state securities law filings.
• Assist with venture capital fund interest transfers by preparing transfer agreements and reviewing new-investor eligibility.

Requirements

• At least one year of prior experience in the fund formation practice area.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Good judgment, initiative, and flexibility.
• BS/BA degree.
• Full-time, non-exempt employment.
