Venture Fund Paralegal

Annual base salary: $75,000–$180,000

What you will do

• Maintain fund formation checklists and support the formation of venture capital funds.
• Review and respond to investor subscription documents.
• Organize general partner, main fund, side fund, and management company entities.
• Distribute closing documents to investors and prepare closing volumes.
• Make federal and state securities law filings.
• Prepare transfer agreements and review the eligibility of new fund investors.

Requirements

• At least one year of prior experience in fund formation.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Good judgment, initiative, and flexibility.
• BS or BA degree.
• Full-time, non-exempt status.
