Quantitative Developer (Fintech)

Salary: $200K–$300K per year plus equity

What you will do

• Design, implement, and optimize algorithms for long-only and long-short direct indexing engines.
• Develop automated trading execution, portfolio optimization, and performance reporting systems.
• Build reliable pipelines for market data, execution data, tax lots, corporate actions, and risk models.
• Translate complex investment models into accurate, performant, scalable, and stable production code.
• Collaborate with quantitative researchers, backend engineers, product, design, and operations teams.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in engineering, computer science, applied mathematics, physics, or another quantitative field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with intellectual curiosity about investment management.
• Knowledge of investments and finance; cash equities experience is beneficial.
• Strong programming background in an object-oriented language.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and collaborate effectively in a team.
• Backend stack includes TypeScript, Node, Python, PostgreSQL, Redis, AWS, containerized infrastructure, distributed workers, and GraphQL.
