Private Securities, Platform Broker

Location: New York, New York, United States; hybrid schedule with 2–3 days per week in the Soho, NY office

Annual salary for New York residents: $100,000–$150,000; total compensation including bonus: $200,000–$250,000

What you will do

• Help private company shareholders, high-net-worth individuals, and institutional investors complete trades and navigate the online platform.
• Manage customer inquiries and advise clients on structuring and executing transactions.
• Review client diligence and ensure compliance standards are met.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, full-service brokers, and other internal groups to improve the platform and maximize transaction volume.
• Develop business prospects through current customers, referrals, and networking.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in financial services, venture capital, investment banking, sales and trading, or wealth management.
• Series 7, 63/66, and SIE licenses.
• Understanding of the private securities marketplace, private securities transactions, institutional equity research, and sales.
• Ability to build relationships with customers, clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
• Ability to work in an online trading and fast-paced environment while providing thorough customer support.
• Excellent organizational, written, verbal communication, attention-to-detail, and follow-through skills.
