Payment Processing Support Associate 2

What you will do

• Process routine incoming and outgoing wire transfers according to established protocols and service-level agreements.
• Schedule, balance, and reconcile daily ACH files.
• Handle ACH and wire exceptions, including item returns, stop payments, and file repairs.
• Review and archive funds transfer agreements, affidavits, and other customer documentation.
• Perform callback verifications, monitor payment activity for irregularities, and escalate issues when needed.
• Support ACH customer setup updates, payment research requests, and coverage across ACH and wire functions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years of banking operations experience, preferably with ACH or wire processing.
• Basic knowledge of NACHA Operating Rules, BSA, Regulation E, and related federal payment regulations, or willingness to train.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong verbal and written communication, attention to detail, and ability to follow procedures.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume, accuracy-driven environment and perform required physical duties, including lifting or carrying approximately 10 pounds when necessary.
