Location: Hybrid position based in Columbus, Ohio, with required office attendance as needed.

Salary: $97,000–$180,000 annually; expected starting range: $97,000–$145,000.

What you will do

• Coordinate close and financial reporting activities across more than 150 legal entities.
• Research, analyze, and implement new or revised accounting policies and procedures.
• Advise management and business partners on complex accounting transactions, statements, and financial data.
• Prepare and submit complex GAAP and STAT financial information for internal, regulatory, audit, IRS, and state examination needs.
• Lead the development of enhanced systems, processes, and technology-enabled workflow improvements.
• Facilitate quarter-end close briefings and provide day-to-day guidance and coaching to two associates.

Requirements

• Six or more years of related accounting experience.
• Undergraduate studies in accounting, finance, or business administration; an accounting degree is preferred.
• Knowledge of GAAP and/or STAT requirements, financial statement preparation, consolidation, taxation principles, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to analyze and solve complex accounting problems and interpret financial documents, data, and legal requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication, project management, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Must be able to work in the United States; this role does not qualify for employer-sponsored work authorization, and hirify.global does not participate in the STEM OPT extension program.

• Progress toward CPA certification.
