Humana Technology Internship - Summer 2027 (Early ID Participants) (Healthcare Technology)

Location: On-site at hirify.global’s headquarters in Louisville, Kentucky, United States. The 12-week internship runs from May 24, 2027, through August 13, 2027, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.

Salary: $37,440–$96,800 per year for full-time equivalent employment; individual pay may vary.

What you will do

• Contribute to technology projects supporting healthcare, insurance operations, members, providers, and military communities.
• Work with technical teams on software and cloud engineering, web and mobile development, API development, and digital experiences.
• Support data engineering, reporting, dashboard development, data quality, analytics, and insight generation.
• Help develop AI capabilities, including natural language processing, conversational AI, model development, and data pipeline optimization.
• Contribute to cybersecurity, threat detection, vulnerability management, identity security, data protection, risk and compliance, and secure cloud architecture.
• Participate in technical research, enterprise architecture, technology planning, and transformation projects.

Requirements

• Must work on-site in Louisville, Kentucky, for the full 12-week internship.
• Must not require U.S. work visa sponsorship now or in the future; OPT, CPT, and J-1 support are not provided.
• Current full-time undergraduate or graduate student in computer science, information technology, engineering, data analytics, cybersecurity, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Expected graduation between Winter 2028 and Summer 2029.
• Must have attended and participated in hirify.global’s Early ID Program in July 2026.
• Strong communication, adaptability, flexibility, and intellectual curiosity.

Nice to have

• Experience with C++, Java, HTML, SQL, C#, Python, JavaScript, CSS, cloud technologies, Power BI, Salesforce, Agile, Scrum, project management, web or mobile development, API development, data science, or AI applications.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5.
• Coursework in programming, data structures, algorithms, or machine learning.
• Campus or community involvement and interest in healthcare.
