Algorithm Engineer Senior Technical Expert - Objects Perception (Computer Vision)

What you will do

• Lead long-term applied research initiatives and proof-of-concepts that shape perception and autonomous driving technology.
• Design and implement end-to-end perception and multimodal learning systems across detection, tracking, 3D reconstruction, multi-camera fusion, and motion prediction.
• Translate research innovations into validated proof-of-concepts suitable for adoption by production teams.
• Develop systems for deployment on autonomous vehicle platforms.
• Work as a hands-on individual contributor across multiple projects within the Object Perception group.

Requirements

• M.Sc. in Mathematics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience developing computer vision and deep learning systems.
• Experience taking vision models from research through proof-of-concept and into production.
• Ability to independently own vaguely defined research directions end to end.
• Strong programming skills in Python.

Nice to have

• Broad experience with object detection and tracking and 3D scene understanding.
• Technical leadership experience; team management experience is an advantage.
• Experience with motion prediction, trajectory forecasting, behavior modeling, or learning-based navigation for autonomous systems.
• First-author publications at leading peer-reviewed conferences such as CVPR, ECCV, ICCV, NeurIPS, ICML, or ICLR.
• PhD in a relevant field.
