Senior Software Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Build and maintain the Season platform, including scheduling and registered dietitian appointment flows.
• Design and ship structured backend APIs and services.
• Support integrations with health systems and OpenLoop clients.
• Contribute to the data and AI layer powering personalized nutritional guidance.
• Partner with non-technical stakeholders to turn ambiguous requirements into working solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building and shipping production systems, or equivalent practical experience.
• Fullstack capability with backend depth and frontend experience.
• Experience with JVM technologies such as Java or Kotlin, Python, FastAPI, and a frontend framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.
• Experience with AWS or GCP, relational databases such as Postgres or MySQL, and API design.
• Ability to own projects end to end, work independently through ambiguity, and collaborate with non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Infrastructure as code experience with Terraform or CDK.
• Experience with Snowflake, DBT, or other data warehouse and analytics tools.
• Experience building billing, fintech, or healthtech systems.
• Experience in regulated or healthcare environments involving HIPAA or PHI.
