AI/ML Engineer (Applied AI)

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, CA or New York, NY

Salary: $100,000–$300,000 annually, with potential variable compensation, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Architect and launch AI agents for the AI Cyber Taskforce in collaboration with design customers.
• Translate business goals, product strategies, and customer requirements into production-grade AI systems.
• Identify datasets and representations, and decompose enterprise security workflows into autonomous subtasks.
• Research long-term reasoning and planning approaches to evolve AI workflows from supervised operation toward autonomy.
• Build reusable ranking, retrieval, and search components for the LLM-powered Gen AI platform.
• Develop frameworks for training, evaluating, and stress-testing ML systems while contributing to engineering excellence, mentoring, and recruiting.

Requirements

• Multiple years of experience developing and deploying AI-driven systems in production.
• Expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and AI models, with experience building scalable and performant systems.
• Experience designing and deploying agentic systems and autonomous agents within larger applications or products.
• Ability to solve real-world scale, efficiency, robustness, and performance challenges under production constraints.
• Familiarity with reinforcement learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and large-scale generative models.
• Ability to collaborate iteratively with cross-functional teams and apply emerging AI techniques to evolving product needs.
