TL;DR
IT Manufacturing Application Developer 2 (Microsoft .NET): Developing and enhancing global manufacturing IT applications with an accent on Microsoft .NET technologies, SQL databases, web APIs, and application performance. Focus on designing user-driven applications, testing releases, maintaining documentation, and improving manufacturing operations through transformation projects.
Location: Onsite in Bayan Lepas, Malaysia; secondary work location in Bayan Lepas.

What you will do
- Participate in software development lifecycle processes and translate user requirements into application specifications.
- Analyze, design, develop, enhance, and revamp global manufacturing IT applications.
- Test applications in development and test environments before go-live.
- Analyze application performance and implement efficiency improvements.
- Maintain application documentation and procedures and provide system training to business users.
- Collaborate with internal IT teams and end users on projects, including operational transformation initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of hands-on application development experience.
- Experience with Microsoft .NET Core or .NET 6+, C# and/or VB.NET, ASP.NET MVC or Web API, MySQL or MS SQL Server, and PL/SQL.
- Experience with React or ReactJS, Blazor, IIS administration, and REST or SOAP web services.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Ability to follow environmental, health, and safety rules.
Nice to have
- Experience with manufacturing applications and processes.
- Experience supporting service-oriented architectures, SOA, or microservices.
- Exposure to data analytics, machine learning, or AI technologies and frameworks.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum and source code version control systems such as Team Foundation Server or Git.
- Experience working collaboratively in a technical team environment.
