Software Application Engineer (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Analyze, design, develop, review, document, integrate, test, and support software applications.
• Develop engineering design models, programs, tools, and software that analyze application data and identify deficiencies and status.
• Design system flows, implementation specifications, project timelines, testing plans, and ongoing application support.
• Deploy and roll out MES/CIM products and solutions for customers globally.
• Refine systems and ensure technical, performance, quality, and customer requirements are met.
• Provide informal guidance to new team members without direct supervisory responsibility.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer, Electronics, or Industrial Engineering, or an MBA with an Information Systems background; higher education is also accepted.
• 3–5 years of software development experience; additional experience may be considered for a senior position.
• Experience with web development technologies such as Angular, React, Node, and Django.
• Experience with Linux, shell scripting, Python, networking, Jenkins, Docker, Git, and Git Flow.
• Experience with C++ and object-oriented programming, Oracle PL/SQL, and test-driven development.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; regional travel is required approximately 25% of the time.

Nice to have

• MES/CIM software engineering and development experience.
• Experience with Applied MES products such as 300works or FACTORYworks.
• Semiconductor industry experience or semiconductor domain knowledge.
