Location: Hybrid work with onsite requirements near Denver or Colorado Springs; listed locations include Denver, CO and Long Beach, CA
Salary: $150,000–$255,000 base salary per year, plus equity and benefits

What you will do
- Lead the technical execution of a next-generation missile defense program.
- Establish and enforce structural integrity processes and standards across the space-based interceptor program.
- Develop and validate structural models and manage structural margins across configurations.
- Define and maintain fracture control, fatigue, creep, and damage tolerance methodologies.
- Establish verification and test processes for structural integrity activities.
- Lead cross-functional technical teams across hardware and software boundaries.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience developing and managing Fracture Control Plans and performing structural analysis using FEM methods.
- Proven leadership in design, analysis, and verification on a major aerospace program.
- Expertise with NASTRAN, ABAQUS, NASGRO, or comparable analysis tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility for DoD Secret clearance are required.
- Must be located near Denver or Colorado Springs and able to work onsite as required.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering.
- Experience with missile defense or space vehicle programs.
- Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams and managing design-to-delivery cycles.
- Background in systems engineering or technical program management.
- TS/SCI clearance.
