Senior Content Specialist (Content Marketing)

Location: Jacksonville, FL or Kansas City, MO, United States. Occasional travel required, typically under 15 days per year.

What you will do

• Plan and create technical, solution-oriented, and client-focused content across the full customer journey, from awareness through adoption and retention.
• Own content initiatives from planning through delivery, including editorial calendars, stakeholder inputs, approvals, dependencies, and blocker resolution.
• Edit and quality-assure internal and vendor-produced content, maintaining accuracy, relevance, consistency, and alignment with brand guidelines.
• Optimize content for SEO, GEO, AI-assisted search, intent-based discovery, and zero-click environments using performance data and AI tools.
• Support LinkedIn publishing, organic social strategy, performance tracking, experimentation, and employee advocacy programs.
• Collaborate with product, regional, segment, operations, sales, and internal enablement teams using tools such as Highspot and email templates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of marketing experience in fintech, investment management, or another complex, regulated B2B industry.
• Ability to understand technical and nuanced industry concepts and translate them into compelling content.
• Hands-on content execution skills, strong organization, and project-management ability across multiple stakeholders and workstreams.
• Self-directed working style, strong business acumen, and effective collaboration across marketing and sales.
• Proficiency with AI tools for content creation and optimization.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot.
• Strong understanding of SEO, GEO, and content performance in AI-driven search environments.
