What you will do

• Lead legal support for global commercial transactions, including OEM, channel relationships, and cloud service agreements.
• Build and scale a world-class global legal team and optimize internal legal processes.
• Advise on complex regulatory frameworks including export controls, sanctions, and AI-specific regulations.
• Manage legal execution for private financings, strategic investments, M&A, and IPO readiness.
• Design company-wide compliance policies covering anti-corruption, data governance, and trade compliance.
• Establish board operations and governance frameworks to maximize enterprise value.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer in Korea or another major jurisdiction with the ability to practice effectively in Korea.
• 10+ years of professional experience with a background in top-tier law firms and in-house leadership.
• Proven track record of building legal systems and teams from the ground up.
• Fluent, bilingual-level business English and professional proficiency in Korean.
• Strong understanding of business priorities and the ability to align legal strategy with growth.

Nice to have

• Deep expertise in the AI, semiconductor, or deep-tech regulatory landscape.
• Full-cycle IPO experience from pre-listing preparation to post-listing governance.
• Strategic experience resolving multi-jurisdictional export control issues.
