Software Engineer - Production Engineering

Location: Prague, Czech Republic; primarily in-office work from the Prague office is required

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and test-orchestration services for FlashArray and FlashBlade engineering teams.
• Build developer-facing automation, including CLIs and APIs, and encode quality gates into release systems.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve reliability using observability tools and engineering metrics.
• Participate as a technical leader in on-call rotations and incident triage.
• Direct mitigation strategies and drive robust root-cause resolution across infrastructure.

Requirements

• Senior-level expertise in software, production, or site reliability engineering.
• Experience designing and leading complex backend services and CI or release infrastructure across multiple teams.
• Strong knowledge of software engineering fundamentals, distributed systems, and Linux or Unix environments.
• Ability to debug complex issues across operating system, network, storage, and application layers.
• Advanced proficiency in Python or Go, plus strong scripting and automation skills for pipelines-as-code and orchestration tools.
• Strong problem-solving, incident response, collaboration, and technical leadership skills.
