TL;DR
DevOps Engineer – Platform (Kubernetes): Building and evolving the IP Fabric product platform, deployment model, CI/CD pipelines, and developer tooling with an accent on Linux, containers, Kubernetes, Python, and TypeScript. Focus on decomposing monolithic application components, modernizing Debian-based deployments, improving testing infrastructure, and troubleshooting across application, runtime, and CI/CD boundaries.
Location: Prague or remote within the EU; full remote or hybrid work available. The role is primarily CET-based and requires EU citizenship or other eligibility to work in the EU.

What you will do
- Build and improve product-platform components and engineering tooling with Python and TypeScript.
- Evolve the product from a monolithic structure toward cleaner modules and services.
- Design and implement a container-based deployment model, including migration from Debian packages.
- Build, troubleshoot, and improve CI/CD, build, testing, and local-development infrastructure.
- Work with Kubernetes and containerized workloads while troubleshooting application, runtime, Linux, and pipeline issues.
- Improve platform stability, performance, maintainability, observability, developer experience, and secure engineering practices.
Requirements
- Strong GNU/Linux fundamentals and troubleshooting skills.
- Hands-on experience with containers and practical Kubernetes knowledge.
- Experience building, maintaining, or improving CI/CD pipelines.
- Software-development experience with Python and/or TypeScript.
- Ability to independently own technical implementation and apply modern testing and version-control practices.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills and EU work eligibility are required.
Nice to have
- Experience with both Python and TypeScript, Node.js, developer tooling, or DevEx.
- Experience modernizing deployments, migrating workloads to containers, or decomposing monolithic applications.
- Experience with build systems, testing infrastructure, software hardening, platform security, performance, or reliability.
