What you will do

• Design and deliver scalable cloud, Big Data, and machine-learning infrastructure for AI-driven Workforce Management.
• Build distributed data pipelines and workflow-orchestration services using AWS, Spark, EMR, S3, Metaflow, AWS Batch, Step Functions, and Fargate.
• Develop reusable platform capabilities that help data scientists and product teams deploy and operate AI/ML workflows.
• Improve platform reliability, scalability, observability, security, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Create automated integration, scale, and load tests for production-level workloads.
• Lead technical initiatives, review designs and code, influence architecture, and mentor engineers.

Requirements

• Five or more years of relevant professional software-engineering experience, or equivalent experience supported by an advanced degree.
• Advanced programming experience in Python, Java, Scala, or a comparable language.
• Experience designing, developing, and operating production-grade services or distributed data-processing systems.
• Strong experience with AWS, cloud-native architecture, Big Data technologies, software design, APIs, automated testing, CI/CD, and operational support.
• Experience with performance, scalability, reliability, load testing, and owning technical projects through production delivery.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience; experience mentoring engineers is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with ML platforms, MLOps, model deployment, or AI/ML workflow orchestration.
• Experience with Metaflow, Airflow, Kubeflow, AWS Batch, ECS/Fargate, Step Functions, Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, or Aurora.
• Experience with secure multi-account or multi-tenant AWS architectures and infrastructure as code using Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
• Experience with observability platforms such as CloudWatch, OpenTelemetry, or New Relic.
• Experience optimizing cloud infrastructure or working with workforce management, forecasting, anomaly detection, or Agentic AI applications.
