Collection Manager – Consumer Credit (Fintech)

Location: Luxembourg, Luxembourg. Hybrid role with three days per week in the office: Tuesday, Thursday, and one additional day of choice; extra remote time may be requested.

What you will do

• Own and evolve the end-to-end collection strategy across consumer lending products.
• Design data-driven collection strategies using analytics, predictive models, segmentation, and risk profiles.
• Develop AI-powered next-best-action logic, predictive contact strategies, and intelligent account prioritization.
• Personalize customer communications by adapting tone, channel, and timing to customer behavior.
• Manage collection KPIs including recovery rates, roll rates, and cost-to-collect, ensuring measurable and ROI-positive initiatives.
• Ensure service levels, fairness, and regulatory compliance while coordinating with Finance, Product, Data, Legal, and external collection agencies.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in collections within consumer lending, including BNPL or secured and unsecured credit.
• Background in fintech, modern banking, or financial services.
• Strong analytical skills and experience working with large datasets and segmentation models.
• Experience applying AI in collections, such as predictive scoring or automated decisioning.
• Ability to design sophisticated strategies and execute them operationally.
• Customer-centric approach to tailored communication and channel optimization.
