What you will do

• Coordinate the Market Abuse Risk Assessment across surveillance, Line Compliance, Engineering, and other internal teams.
• Analyze inherent risk, control suites, and residual risk, documenting rationales in internal systems.
• Lead monthly change-management reviews with Line Compliance and Markets Surveillance Compliance stakeholders.
• Prioritize risks and products requiring improved control ratings and propose detection logic and criteria.
• Define new or enhanced surveillance scenarios and efficiency improvements across equities and fixed income.
• Prepare risk reports, management presentations, and weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Approximately five years of experience in financial services.
• Strong understanding of financial products and interest in compliance laws, regulations, risks, and typologies.
• Analytical, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and across regional offices.
• Strong project management, organizational, judgment, and attention-to-detail skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Risk and Control Self-Assessments frameworks and processes.
• Academic background in mathematics, computer science, engineering, or statistics.
• Experience handling multiple projects and driving continuous improvement.
