IT Security Analyst

What you will do

• Monitor and triage alerts from SIEM, EDR, anti-malware, email, web, and cloud security tools.
• Support incident containment, eradication, recovery, evidence capture, timeline building, and remediation tracking.
• Run or support vulnerability scans, validate findings, assign remediation tickets, and monitor service-level progress.
• Support identity and access management, privileged access reviews, DLP investigations, and MFA administration.
• Maintain security tooling, alert rules, playbooks, knowledge-base articles, and operational documentation.
• Prepare reports and dashboards covering incidents, vulnerabilities, control exceptions, DLP, MFA, and remediation progress.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in IT governance, IT audit, risk, or compliance.
• Experience with cybersecurity risk assessment, threat modeling, control testing, or security governance.
• Good spoken and written English is required.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, report-writing, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
