Mobile Engineer (React Native)

Location: Jerusalem, Israel; hybrid work with office attendance required twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays

What you will do

• Build and maintain the React Native mobile app with a focus on performance, offline resilience, and native-quality user experience.
• Translate Figma designs into production mobile UI using design tokens and shared components, collaborating with product and design teams.
• Develop data-driven screens with real-time streaming data, charts, and complex list rendering optimized for mobile constraints.
• Design reactive data-layer patterns, including state management, server-state caching, subscriptions, and offline-first strategies.
• Contribute to navigation architecture, gesture-driven interfaces, native module integration, authentication flows, and mobile infrastructure.
• Improve codebase health through architecture standards, rendering optimization, bundle-size management, build tooling, and AI-assisted development workflows.

Requirements

• Ability to work from the Jerusalem office twice a week, on Mondays and Wednesdays, is required.
• High level of spoken and written English is required.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience building production React Native applications with strong TypeScript skills.
• Experience with native build tooling, App Store and Google Play deployment, release workflows, signing, review processes, and OTA updates.
• Strong understanding of mobile architecture trade-offs, performance, battery usage, offline behavior, reactive state management, and real-time streaming data.
• Strong problem-solving, cross-team collaboration, responsiveness, and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.

Nice to have

• Offline-first caching and local persistence experience.
• Experience with shared component libraries, design token systems, or close collaboration with designers.
• Experience with mobile data visualization or graphics rendering.
• Familiarity with mobile CI/CD pipelines, release automation, and AI-assisted development tools.
