Data Science Intern (Fintech)

What you will do

• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Write and optimize production SQL against the data warehouse for analyses and model features.
• Contribute to the development, improvement, and monitoring of credit risk models for underwriting and portfolio management.
• Build MLOps foundations for experiment tracking, pipelines, and internal tooling.
• Present findings and recommendations to the team and leadership.

Requirements

• Degree completed or in progress in a quantitative or business-related field.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Experience in data science through internships, academic projects, or similar work.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and clear communication skills.
• Ability to work proactively and independently in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with MLOps tools.
• Experience working in startups or credit risk underwriting.
