Future Engineering Opportunities (Aerospace)

Location: Long Beach, California; must be local to or willing to relocate to Long Beach. The position is onsite, with hybrid and in-office work arrangements also mentioned.

What you will do

• Advance hardware, software, and operational systems supporting future launch initiatives.
• Develop mission-critical software, autonomy systems, guidance, navigation and controls, flight software, and real-time systems.
• Support satellite operations, mission simulations, space domain awareness, and rendezvous and proximity operations.
• Design algorithms for autonomy, sensor fusion, and space situational awareness.
• Develop spacecraft, propulsion systems, avionics, space-qualified electronics, RF systems, and related hardware.
• Lead complex engineering projects involving multiple stakeholders while meeting deadlines and deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in an engineering discipline.
• Experience with spacecraft, aerospace, automotive, aviation, or consumer electronics.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to maintain or obtain TS//SCI clearance.
• Must be local to or willing to relocate to Long Beach, California.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain required U.S. authorizations under ITAR regulations.
