Process Engineering Technician (3D Printing)

What you will do

• Collect, organize, and track samples from process engineering, applications, manufacturing, quality, field service, customers, and partners.
• Coordinate internal testing and external sample shipments to support short turnaround times.
• Prepare samples using EDM, chiseling, epoxy puck preparation, and related methods.
• Perform microscopy, profilometry, X-ray inspection, powder testing, and other sample measurements.
• Create and maintain standard operating procedures for metrology operations.
• Troubleshoot and maintain laboratory equipment, coordinate repairs, and communicate experimental results and status updates.

Requirements

• High school diploma and at least two years of applicable experience.
• Experience in a troubleshooting or experimental setting with good mechanical aptitude and basic machine operation skills.
• Ability to organize workflows, track external vendors, record data, and communicate results clearly.
• Strong attention to detail, accountability, ownership, quality, safety, and communication skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Fremont, California.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds, stand for extended periods, and wear required personal protective equipment.
