hirify.global is building consumer personal robots that use embodied AI to perform repetitive household tasks.

What you will do

  • Design and develop robot learning algorithms for dexterous manipulation and controls.
  • Use large-scale real-world data collection to develop generalizable robot behaviors.
  • Own the workflow from task definition and data curation to model training, evaluation, and on-robot deployment.
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional robotics team developing a consumer personal robot.
  • Write maintainable, production-quality code for research and deployment.

Requirements

  • 3+ years or equivalent experience in machine learning for robotics, controls, or perception.
  • Proficiency in Python and a deep learning framework; PyTorch is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with robot learning for real-world tasks, including offline and online training and evaluation.
  • Experience building tooling for visualization, debugging, and evaluation of data and learning pipelines.
  • Clear communication and effective collaboration in fast-moving, cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of classical robotics fundamentals, including controls, planning, and state estimation.
  • Experience profiling and optimizing latency, memory, and compute on edge devices.
  • Experience with large-scale model training pipelines such as LLM, VLM, or VLA systems.
