Lead Machine Learning Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Lead the design, development, deployment, and support of production machine learning, AI, and Generative AI solutions.
• Provide senior technical leadership, mentorship, code reviews, design discussions, and troubleshooting support.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable, and secure technical solutions.
• Build reusable ML frameworks, APIs, deployment patterns, and automation capabilities.
• Integrate AI services, enterprise applications, APIs, and data platforms into production workflows.
• Contribute to model monitoring, lifecycle management, CI/CD, incident response, and root cause analysis.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of professional experience in machine learning engineering or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
• Advanced knowledge of machine learning algorithms, model development, and evaluation.
• Strong Python programming skills and experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• Experience designing scalable machine learning systems and integrating them into production workflows.
• Residence in the Ann Arbor area or willingness to relocate is required.
