Senior Systems Design Engineer (AI Hardware)

What you will do

• Own the design and development of reference boards and hardware platforms.
• Translate evolving silicon capabilities and system-level constraints into practical, robust designs.
• Drive schematic design and guide PCB layout with internal teams and external partners.
• Design key subsystems including power delivery, high-speed interfaces, and clocking while ensuring signal and power integrity.
• Define package-level constraints and coordinate package-to-board integration with OSATs and manufacturing vendors.
• Support board bring-up, system debugging, design-for-manufacturability activities, and transitions from prototypes to production.

Requirements

• Significant experience in hardware or board-level design.
• Strong background in high-speed digital design and power delivery.
• Experience designing and bringing up complex PCBs.
• Familiarity with Altium, Cadence, or similar PCB design tools.
• Understanding of package-to-board interactions, system-level constraints, and design for manufacturability.
• Experience working with external PCB and OSAT vendors and operating effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI/ML hardware or high-performance computing platforms.
• Exposure to multi-die or chiplet-based systems.
• Familiarity with thermal and mechanical considerations in hardware design.
• Experience supporting hardware through bring-up and early production.
