AP & Payment Operations Specialist (Fintech)

Location: Luxembourg, Luxembourg; hybrid work with three days per week in the office

What you will do

• Execute end-to-end vendor payment cycles across banking platforms using invoices and purchase orders from SAP.
• Manage and prioritize payment queues according to due dates and urgency.
• Investigate transactional discrepancies, resolve unmatched or delayed invoices, and prevent duplicate payments.
• Handle payroll-adjacent payment flows, including pension contributions and loan deductions.
• Document and scale payment workflows while partnering with Treasury to automate payment flows through SAP bank connectivity.
• Coordinate payment requests across Accounting, Procurement, Controlling, internal stakeholders, and external vendors.

Requirements

• 3–4 years of hands-on experience in accounts payable, payment operations, or treasury back-office environments.
• Experience managing vendor payment queues with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Comfort working with ERP systems; SAP S/4HANA is strongly preferred.
• Experience navigating multiple banking platforms simultaneously.
• Fluent English required for written and verbal collaboration.
• Proactive, adaptable, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
