Senior Brand Designer (AI)

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, with a preference for San Francisco or New York City

Salary: $164,000–$185,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Define and maintain Assort’s visual language, including typography, color palette, design systems, creative assets, templates, and brand guidelines.
• Bring the brand to life across campaigns, websites, product experiences, sales collateral, executive communications, social, print, and events.
• Concept and execute creative work end to end across digital, web, print, presentations, customer marketing, and sales enablement.
• Partner with Product Marketing, Product Design, Engineering, Revenue Marketing, and leadership to translate complex healthcare AI products and workflows into visual stories, illustrations, diagrams, motion, and launch assets.
• Create scalable AI-enabled creative systems, components, presentation frameworks, guidelines, and AI-assisted workflows.
• Art direct photography, illustration, motion, and other creative work while raising design quality through critique and creative direction.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in visual, graphic, or brand design with a portfolio demonstrating exceptional craft and conceptual thinking across digital, print, web, and physical experiences.
• Experience building brands, visual identities, campaigns, or design systems from concept through execution.
• Expert proficiency in Figma, Illustrator, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong judgment in typography, composition, hierarchy, color, and systems thinking.
• Experience partnering with Product Marketing, Product Design, or Product teams to communicate complex products visually.
• Comfort working autonomously in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment and experimenting with AI-powered creative tools and workflows.

• Experience evolving a brand system at an early-stage company or leading a rebrand.
• Experience directing video, photography, motion, or live-event creative.
• Experience mentoring designers or guiding external creative partners.
