Senior Software Engineer (Integrations)

Location: Fully remote anywhere in France, with the option to work from or use a hybrid arrangement at the Paris office.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain hirify.global's JavaScript Tag for customer websites, focusing on performance, resilience, security, privacy, and Core Web Vitals.
• Build and improve server-side integration modules for AWS Lambda@Edge, Cloudflare Workers, Fastly Compute, Node.js, and other runtimes.
• Own backend integration modules in Python, Go, Java, and Ruby to support customer-side infrastructure integrations.
• Drive technical direction, coding standards, release quality, CI/CD, testing, performance, and security improvements.
• Mentor engineers and provide Tier 2/3 technical expertise to Support and Solutions Engineering teams.
• Manage integration incidents, conduct post-incident reviews, and evaluate developments in web technologies and edge computing.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills, including modern web standards and server-side JavaScript runtimes.
• Solid working proficiency in at least one additional backend language: Python, Go, Java, or Ruby.
• Understanding of HTTP, TCP, cookies, DNS, TLS, scalable integration trade-offs, and automation.
• Experience with mentoring or driving technical decisions, CI/CD tools, performance, and code quality.
• Fluent English required; candidates must be based in France.

Nice to have

• Experience with edge computing platforms, CDNs, load balancers, web servers, AWS, or GCP.
• Knowledge of browsers, JavaScript engines, ECMAScript, and web standards.
• Experience with CSP, iframe sandboxing, bot detection, web application security, compilers, parsers, cryptography, or bot development.
