Location: Oakville, California, United States; onsite role with a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Salary: $72,700β$106,700 per year, plus benefits including paid time off, medical, dental and vision insurance, and a 401(k).

What you will do
- Lead the selection, training, development, and evaluation of kitchen employees and managers.
- Manage meal services and maintain cleanliness, organization, and food-quality standards across kitchen and storage areas.
- Partner with front-of-house and hospitality leadership on communication, problem-solving, and operational best practices.
- Plan seasonal menus and collaborate on branded menus and event items.
- Control labor and operating expenses through scheduling, budgeting, planning, and purchasing.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal sanitation regulations and participate in food-related marketing and PR opportunities.
Requirements
- At least five years of kitchen management and operational experience in full-service, high-volume, and event-based kitchens.
- Strong food and beverage operations knowledge and a proven record of high-level kitchen management.
- Excellent written, verbal, and electronic communication skills.
- Current ServSafe Manager Certification required.
- Comfort working in an open-kitchen environment and handling flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. and work for extended periods while exposed to varying temperatures, wet surfaces, noise, fumes, and moving equipment.
Nice to have
- Experience managing multiple culinary concepts.
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong systems, software, event-planning, and day-of-event execution experience.
- Microsoft Suite experience.
