Senior IT Auditor (Healthcare) (IT Audit/Internal Controls): Planning and conducting IT internal audit projects covering technology processes, risks, controls, and financial reporting support with an accent on IT general controls, automated controls, SOX, and risk management. Focus on testing controls, documenting audit evidence, identifying remediation opportunities, and using data analytics and automation to improve audit efficiency.
Location: Remote from any location in Argentina; availability during US Eastern Time Zone business hours

What you will do
- Develop internal audit methodologies and contribute to the annual internal audit plan.
- Plan, organize, and conduct IT internal audit projects requested by the annual plan, management, or the Audit Committee.
- Perform IT process walkthroughs, control testing, and results analysis supporting the SOX and ICFR programs.
- Prepare audit workpapers and reports with sufficient, relevant, and competent evidence.
- Identify IT control gaps and monitor remediation with process and control owners.
- Communicate risks, business impacts, actionable recommendations, and efficiency opportunities through data analytics and automation.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in public accounting and/or internal audit, preferably at a publicly traded company.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Understanding of core IT processes and systems, internal control frameworks including COSO and COBIT, SOX standards, and auditing practices.
- Experience auditing IT General Controls, automated controls, and key reports supporting business processes.
- Experience with ERP systems, cloud technologies, and enterprise applications.
- Ability to work independently during US Eastern Time Zone business hours.
Nice to have
- Power BI, AI readiness initiatives, data analytics, IT automated controls, automation, or dashboard development experience.
- CPA and/or CISA certification.
- Master’s degree.
