Director, Internal Audit (Healthcare)

Location: New York City, United States; hybrid schedule with 3 days in-office per week. Thursdays are required in the office, while the other two office days are flexible.

Salary: $180,504–$236,911 per year, plus benefits, equity grants, and annual performance bonuses.

What you will do

• Shape and execute the internal audit strategic roadmap with the Vice President of Internal Audit and Enterprise Risk.
• Participate in enterprise risk assessments and lead the annual risk-based internal audit plan.
• Prepare internal audit reports and materials for Audit Committee reporting.
• Provide advisory services on risk and internal controls to business partners.
• Coordinate activities with Security GRC, Privacy, Compliance, and SOX functions.
• Present findings and recommendations to management, develop relationships with business partners, and train internal audit team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in internal audit or a similar role, including experience in Big Four firms or public companies.
• 4+ years of relevant industry experience in healthcare, insurance, and/or technology.
• 4+ years of experience managing internal resources or consultants.
• Ability to work in the New York City office three days per week.

Nice to have

• Insurance or healthcare experience.
• Understanding of finance and accounting.
• CIA, CPA, CISA, or equivalent certification.
• Experience with data and analytics.
