Senior Software Engineer (DataOps)

Location: Ramat Gan, Israel, hybrid; walking distance from both train stations

hirify.global builds a unified DataOps platform for data ingestion, reverse ETL, observability, and data cataloging.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable code for the DataOps platform.
• Own core features and services from conception through completion with minimal oversight.
• Build and optimize high-performance, data-intensive systems and asynchronous data pipelines.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues across development and production environments.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across projects.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and other cross-functional teams to deliver robust technical solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience, including 2+ years in a Senior or Lead role owning mission-critical systems.
• Strong hands-on expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, React, and Python.
• Deep understanding of high-performance SQL and NoSQL database design.
• Experience architecting and scaling high-throughput SaaS platforms or complex data-intensive systems.
• Experience building reliable asynchronous data pipelines with Kafka, SQS, or RabbitMQ.
• Hands-on Kubernetes and cloud-native deployment experience, plus strong mentoring and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience at a data-centric company working with ETL/ELT, reverse ETL, observability, or data cataloging.
• AWS expertise.
