Finance - Accounts Payable Manager

What you will do

• Lead daily accounts payable operations, including vendor invoices, employee expense reports, cash disbursements, and three-way matching.
• Manage treasury payments, bank disbursement batches, vendor relationships, segregation-of-duties controls, and payable performance.
• Lead month-end and year-end close activities, including accrual estimates, AP aging analysis, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Manage, mentor, and develop the AP team through KPIs, training, standard operating procedures, and succession planning.
• Prepare AP review reports and analyze spending trends, cycle times, payment accuracy, T&E compliance, and vendor disbursement patterns.
• Optimize P2P and expense workflows by implementing automated ERP controls, OCR, and error-prevention checks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of corporate accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role at a US-affiliated or multinational company.
• Knowledge of US GAAP, SOX, internal controls, and segregation of duties.
• Experience with enterprise ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite and AP tools such as Concur or Coupa.
• Strong analytical, process engineering, communication, coaching, and SOP authoring skills.

Nice to have

• CPA, CMA, or other professional certification.
