Verification Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Verify RTL releases for ML/AI IC products targeting data-centre scale-out applications.
• Work with modelling, system architecture, and RTL design colleagues on specifications, architecture, and verification workflows.
• Read and debug RTL in SystemVerilog and investigate waveform behaviour.
• Build verification infrastructure, including testbenches, stimulus, functional models, checkers, and coverage processes.
• Improve hardware verification practices to increase tape-out quality and reduce development costs.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant engineering experience is preferred.
• Strong software skills in Python or another object-oriented language such as C++.
• Understanding of digital hardware concepts.
• Ability to read and debug RTL in SystemVerilog.
• Familiarity with debugging waveforms.
• Availability to work from the London or Bristol office in the UK.

Nice to have

• Pre-silicon RTL verification planning and execution from specification.
• Transaction-level modelling with UVM, SystemC, or another methodology.
• SystemVerilog Assertions, formal verification, and commercial EDA tools.
• Experience with Cocotb, Verilator, or Icarus Verilog.
• Experience working in a monorepo environment or contributing to architecture discussions.
