Regulatory Manager (UK/EU) - THG Nutrition

What you will do

• Act as the subject matter expert for UK and EU food and food supplement regulations.
• Manage and develop a small team of Regulatory Associates.
• Support product development, review formulations, and approve labels, packaging, websites, advertising, marketing materials, and digital content.
• Assess nutrition and health claims, manage EU supplement notifications and registrations, and monitor regulatory updates.
• Support BRCGS audits, quality systems, and HACCP activities as the regulatory lead.
• Investigate complaints and labelling discrepancies, implement corrective actions, and improve regulatory systems and processes.

Requirements

• Degree in Nutrition, Food Science, Food Technology, Food Law, Food Safety, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of EU food legislation, including labelling, claims, additives, contaminants, novel foods, packaging, and food safety.
• Experience interpreting regulations across multiple EU markets.
• Strong analytical, organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and balance compliance requirements with business objectives.

Nice to have

• Experience with EU food supplement registrations and notifications.
• Team management or mentoring experience.
• HACCP Level 3 qualification.
• Collaborative, adaptable, and resilient working style.
