Solutions Engineer (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Create compelling demonstrations and proof-of-concept solutions for security automation capabilities.
• Listen to customer challenges, collaborate with sales, and present appropriate technical solutions.
• Maintain customer relationships through technical touchpoints, health checks, and ongoing support.
• Develop expertise in assigned products and solutions and share best practices with other solutions engineers.
• Present to partners and participate in events, webinars, and regional customer-facing activities.
• Channel customer and partner feature requests to Product Management.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, or equivalent education combined with pre-sales experience in security software and systems.
• Experience with Microsoft and Linux software and systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, multitasking, problem-solving, communication, customer service, account management, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently, learn new technologies quickly, and communicate with administrators and C-level executives.
• Knowledge of anti-malware, intrusion detection and prevention, data loss prevention, file integrity monitoring, email and web security, Syslog, and SIEM solutions.
• Understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK Framework or security operations center functions; sales engineering experience of 2–5 years is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as CloudFormation and Terraform.
• AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud certifications.
• ECIH or CISSP certification.
• Linux, Solaris, or UNIX system administration training or experience.
