Service and Maintenance Technician (ESS)

Location: Lancaster, California, United States; field work with up to 25% travel

Salary: $25.00–$35.00 per hour

What you will do

• Assemble and commission each stage of energy storage systems according to documented processes.
• Provide service and customer support during field visits.
• Troubleshoot, test, diagnose, repair, and service mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Install and repair cooling systems and work with fiberglass, plastic composites, and aluminum materials.
• Read schematics and engineering documentation while performing measurements and installations.
• Use hand tools, electric and pneumatic power tools, meters, fasteners, adhesives, and sealants while following safety procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to perform mechanical and electrical installation, troubleshooting, testing, repair, and service work.
• Ability to read schematics and engineering documentation.
• Ability to work outdoors, in loud environments, and occasionally in precarious locations.
• Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds and perform standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
• Must follow hirify.global and customer safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment.
