Marketing Automation Engineer (AI)

Location: Must be based in or willing to relocate to San Francisco, CA

Salary: $120,000–$160,000, plus performance bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Design and implement automated workflows to surface insights and route information.
• Develop AI agents using modern tooling to monitor, summarize, and interpret data.
• Build lightweight, automated operational dashboards and reporting feeds.
• Audit team processes to identify and eliminate repetitive manual data work.
• Maintain and improve automation infrastructure to ensure reliability and performance.
• Partner with GTM and data teams to extend data pipelines and add leverage.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in automation, data operations, or technical marketing/growth ops.
• Hands-on experience with automation platforms like Zapier, Make, or n8n.
• Demonstrated experience building agents or workflows using AI tools and LLM APIs.
• Working knowledge of Python or other scripting languages for custom logic.
• Familiarity with marketing analytics platforms and structured data transformation.
• Must be based in San Francisco or willing to relocate for this on-site role.

Nice to have

• Experience building agents with frameworks like LangChain or CrewAI.
• Background working alongside data engineers to extend pipelines.
• Familiarity with GTM data flows and marketing analytics stacks.
• Experience with prompt engineering for LLM-based systems.
