Senior C/C++ Software Engineer (Storage)

Location: On-site in Pune, India

What you will do

• Build, extend, and maintain Metadata Search, KV Store Indexing, and related product features.
• Design and develop system-level components, focusing on file systems and storage architecture.
• Define technical designs and participate in reviews throughout the development lifecycle.
• Support product deployment and resolve production defects in a timely manner.
• Conduct research-based technical tasks, document results, and design solutions.
• Mentor junior developers and lead team initiatives.
• Utilize AI tools to improve productivity across all development phases.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in system software development and complex problem resolution.
• Expert knowledge of C/C++.
• Strong understanding of Linux file systems, OS principles, and kernel procedures.
• Competence in distributed systems and parallel programming.
• Experience with open-source toolchains (gcc, gdb, g++, git).
• Good communication skills in English.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of databases and SQL.
• Experience working with Scrum Agile methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding tools.
