Sr Tax Payroll Analyst

Location: New York, NY; hybrid schedule requiring 3 days per week in the office, with the option to work onsite up to 5 days per week.

Salary: $31.75–$43 per hour.

What you will do

• Oversee and review quarterly and periodic payroll tax filings prepared by ADP.
• Track federal, state, and local tax legislation and update Workday and ADP systems as needed.
• Reconcile federal, state, and local payroll taxes and review annual filings, including Form 941.
• Process W-2 amendments and corrections in Workday and ADP, researching and resolving payroll tax discrepancies.
• Manage state withholding and unemployment tax accounts, including account setup, closure, and ongoing compliance across systems.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries and maintain payroll standard operating procedures.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience reviewing quarterly and periodic tax filings.
• Strong understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Strong problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and data integrity.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Workday Payroll, HCM, Absence, and Time Tracking.
• Experience with ADP Smart Compliance.
