Applied AI Engineer

Salary: $160,000–$300,000 per year

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of AI systems, from experimentation through production deployment and ongoing optimization.
• Use prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, model experimentation, and benchmarking to improve platform performance on biopharma marketing data.
• Transform proprietary commercial and marketing data into complex LLM pipelines that produce high-quality, compliant life sciences marketing content.
• Implement ML Ops practices, including ML CI/CD, model versioning, automated testing, and monitoring.
• Develop infrastructure for evaluating, storing, analyzing, and iterating on LLM outputs and client feedback.
• Architect and build advanced agents and pipelines while supporting customers and contributing across frontend, backend, and infrastructure development.

Requirements

• Experience building systems and deploying enterprise-grade products.
• Strong proficiency in full-stack web development with Python, FastAPI, Docker, and AWS.
• Experience creating LLM-based workflows, RAG pipelines, and agentic solutions with models such as GPT, Claude, or Gemini.
• Ability to think independently, make decisions, and drive results.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, including providing and receiving direct feedback.
• High commitment and work ethic suitable for a founding-team environment.
