What you will do

  • Research, design, and implement tomographic algorithms for 3D image reconstruction using radar phase-history data and optical sensors.
  • Develop autofocus, preprocessing, and calibration techniques that improve reconstruction quality and compensate for platform-position and hardware-related phase inaccuracies.
  • Optimize algorithms for near real-time 3D imagery production in a cloud-based pipeline.
  • Integrate reconstruction solutions into products and services with cross-functional teams.
  • Test, validate, and evaluate algorithm performance against end-user requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in 3D image reconstruction, 3D computer vision, multi-view geometry, or a related area.
  • Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or C/C++.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to learn independently and work under significant time constraints.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain the authorizations required under ITAR.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience deploying 3D image processing or generation algorithms into production pipelines.
  • Experience with tomographic or interferometric SAR, stereo depth estimation, optical flow, 3D localization, or ambiguity resolution.
  • Experience adapting image-processing algorithms for GPU clusters and using stochastic or adaptive signal-processing techniques.
  • Experience applying AI/ML to 3D data products or creating 3D products from geospatial datasets.
